15-17MPG Bull crap.. Warranty?!?! Ha! I think not, that's now void... Ahh nice big IFS lift..So it's useless offroad, I can just imagine those CV shafts blowing themselves apart -- in fact as I recall a very similar thing happened on my old GM before I pulled the IFS right outta-there..
And with a stock engine 80mph, unless there has been some serious re-gearing and no up-hill driving is required..

GM introduced IFS to their 4x4 trucks in 1988.. Over 15 years ago... '87 was the last year for solid axles, except for the blazer and suburban which changed over in 91..
