I was taking off the track bar on my wife's 00 XJ and ran into a snag. I can't loosen the bolt on the upper end (by the body). I pushed, pulled, tug, beat, cussed, yelled, and it wouldn't move. I sprayed it with PB Blaster, let it sit, and repeated. I soaked it again and let it sit overnight. I came home today and tried it again. Same results. I unbolted the axle end, thinking that may be causing strain on the other end, and that didn't help a bit. I sprayed it AGAIN and will see what happens tomorrow. I'm afraid of breaking the support by the body (stock.. which I hear are really weak). Any thoughts on this? If I take the support off, I'm going to need a vice or something to hold the trackbar. That's why I figured this was such a good idea.
Oh, by the way, yes I did take the cotter (sp?) pin out.
