Maybe that's in Canadian dollars, which would only be five US bucks. :)
Ok, not really...but it still might be CN.

I suggest all Canadians email him and find out where he's located. It says NOTHING in the auction about "no pick-up" and if you are local to him he will be one mighty sorry person for trying that scam. I'm about to email him and see if he's near me. Would be so funny and such a good deal ;p

I asked the guy if the shipping cost was a typo. Here is his reply:
"Hi Mike, no it is correct. With the new Ebay charges for listing and final fees which is getting expensive, rather than start the auction at $100.00 and this bumper usually goes for about $130-$160.00 [up to $175.00 from time to time] plus shipping, I have started the listing low and put some of the cost in the shipping! Ebay does not charge for shipping costs, only actual listing and selling cost. If it doesn't sell, I am out $0.75. Otherwise, It costs me $5.00 Actual shipping is from about $30.00 - $45.00 depending on where you live in North America. Many sellers are doing this to keep costs down. Realistically, you could get this bumper shipped to your door for $160.00.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck Bidding!
Thank You

Figures, he is just trying to rip off ebay and get his cake and eat it too.
Sure says a lot about his character eh.

Something tells me this might be against Ebay's TOS....
On Mon, 25 Apr 2005 11:39:57 -0500 in , "WMS" graced the world with this thought:
Why not go ahead and forward that to eBay's complaint department. I bet they'd be interested.
Kind of like columbia house records,,,,14 cd's for a penny, then we'll make up the diff on the other end in shipping and HANDLING charges... when we make you buy 12 more....
For the love of all that is holy, someone from that area PLEASE bid and go pick it up for $10!!! Oh maaaaan how funny would that be.
I'm 45 minutes away from Windsor...anyone wants to bid, I'll pick it up and ship it to you, just pay me for my gas, trouble and DHL...
Looks like a classic case of eBay fee avoidance. If they knew they'd cancel the auction.

Asked for adress. I just sent Mr. S&H an email asking if he could install the buper for me and if not could he send his address for a pick up. Steve
I get the impression that he makes these.
He sure does:
Griffin, Are you actually bidding on this item?
No, that's not me.
