I am thinking about going to the Jamboree in NC in Oct.

I'm reading the equip.list. They say vehicles with running boardswill be turned away. I have the Manik steel side step tubes on both sides. I'm assumingthey only mean those flimsy Mopar plastic thingys. My '99 has 2"body lift,31x10.50 BFG's, Oly Rock Bumpers with built-in receiver hitches, (which are allowed as substitutes for hooks). I have hooks attached on frame in rear. CB radio, Fire extinguisher and recovery straps, but I have no under-armor. I've just been putting it off. They recommend oil,transfercase and gas plates. I'm guessing the trails won't kill me but I'd prefer not to hassle with a repair shop in Murphy NC.The Jamboree has a 5 through 8 rating. (blue square and black diamond) They're mostly calling it old logging roads in the Smokies. Should I worry too much 'bout breaking my baby? Anybody done a Jamboree lately. Is it worth the 250 smackers?
