Hey all,
I have a '98 TJ Sport. In the last two days I've noticed whenever I turn right, and I'm driving on more bumpy road, I hear a little "bump", like the sound of a rod hitting another or something. It's coming from the right/front wheel area. From what I've heard so far, it's happens when there is vertical motion, not horizontal. Turning the wheel doesn't cause it. I can really only hear it when I'm moving slow, like driving through the parking lot.
Now, I know there are a whole slew of things that could be causing a bumping sound and I can't see anything visibly wrong under there. Just wondering if there's a _common_ problem with TJ's, and where/how to start finding the problem.
