Well, I know it was in previous years, I ordered my '00 Sport with the dual top option.
On Jeep.com and on kbb.com, the hard top option was available on all models but the way the options priced out it looked to me that the dual top option was only available on Rubicons. When I priced out a Wrangler X on jeep.com, I clicked the "Dual Top" option, which brought up a window that said to get this option, you have to upgrade to the Rubicon model. Try it out.
Probably went down since the hard doors were already standard.
the finance guy is strictly on commision chrysler finance could have given them a buy rate of 5% then if the finance guy tells you 15% he makes the profit between 5-10% the BEST financing out right now is capitalone (on used vehicles anyways because some dealers offer 0 % on new cars) their rates are between 4.25-6.5 % and will do o down upto 72 months and it is simple interest
they must have to take a lot of showers. :-(
heh, i dont doubt a word of it. just _once_ id like to buy a new vehicle and come out of it feeling like everything was fair. on this deal in the beginning i _thought_ the dealership was doing me a big favor by offering to sell my '01 cummins dodge on consignment....told me it wouldnt cost me a dime. i wanted $19,400 for it and since there was an identical truck on the lot down the road for $24,000 i thought for sure they would sell it quickly. a couple weeks later i got a call from the sales manager (owners son) suggesting that i drop the price another $1,500 to sell it (an '01 dodge cummins quad cab 4x4 diesel in PERFECT condition for $17,900 YEAH RIGHT!) and i told him flat out no way in hell. i had a friend call down there to ask them how much they wanted for the only '01 dodge cummins 4x4 on their lot and they told him $23,800. NO WONDER it hadnt sold! strike one. during financing they told me that the employee number on my relative was no good (not true) so they couldnt honor the green sheet pricing. strike two, we're settling that one now. to top it off they jacked up the chryco interest rate to 17.2%? no thanks, i got my own credit union. strike 3. to top it off they took my "made especially for nathan w. collier" window sticker and they folded it up like a used hamburger wrapper and shoved it in the glovebox, making it permanently creased
There are good salesman and bad yes I think TWaldron got something rammed up his ass during a car purchase and has a vendetta against all salesman! Yes I am proud to sell Jeeps.. that is all I do... I sold cars for several years before opening up my own car lot & when I opened up I told everyone I was going to have nothing but Jeep Wranglers.. Everyone told me I was crazy.. They are the best vehicles made in my opinion... yes they have querks but they are very solid reliable and have the best resale value out there... I dont know a lot of technicle sh*t like Bill & Mike and others but I will help anyone in the sale of a wrangler with any questions where ever they are buying.......I pride myself in what I do & I have sold over 1500 wranglers and have had 2 people mad at me due to something happening to the Jeep after they bought it....well I help any way I can & if anyone has questions about buying any vehicle in the future email & I can try to answer any questions!

Nope, never anything up my ass, however you guys keep trying. Makes one wonder why you guys are so facinated with male asses, doesn't it? I have no vendetta either, just think you are largely criminals that hide behind a facade of a 'business'. The manufacturers look the other way while you take unsuspecting lambs to slaughter. There is not one of you that wouldn't sell his own mother "paint sealant" or some other crap, and internally justify it to fill your own bank account. You do what you do because you are losers who cannot fit into the workplace any other way. Look at the turnover, right on par with teenagers in the restaurant business. Not to be all negative, your "occupation" was best illustrated in the film, "Fargo".
Now, run al> There are good salesman and bad yes I think TWaldron got something rammed
They suck, no doubt, but I've seen worse. This is just the norm for the industry. They look you straight in the eye and lie, one right after the other. You did OK...and you're right, the gas is a bribe to 'smooth over' the reaming. You're not falling for it. Be honest on the survey.
And what is your great occupation Mr Waldron? & you are WRONG about the manufactures... They are insulting the populations intelligence..when they offer 5000-10000 rebates.. they are making all the money when selling to the dealers...If you knew anything about "the car business" the profit lies in parts service and body shop! I am sorry you feel I am a Loser criminal car salesman but you would be riding a bicycle if there were no salesman! :)
The dishonest car salesmen ruin it for the other 1% that are honest.
i agree but not all salesman are bad remeber this:)

Can you post your real address so I can send you the bill for the new keyboard?
Once had a cousin that owned Stowell Chevrolet up near Longview/Kelso Washington. Although I got lots of good advice on buying cars from him, you can probably guess that I never once bought a car from him....
I think thats what he said. He may have been a bit optimistic in that one percent figure, but he did note that some are honest...
