Has anyone here had a problem with a sagging drivers door? I can move mine up and down about 1/2in Do i need new hinges or just the pins, and is this something i should have the dealer fix. The other problem is my shifter, when it's in park sometimes the motor won't start, but if i move it back and forth, (there is about a 1/2in of movement in the shfter when in park) the motor will start up fine. I was thinking it might be the neutral safety switch, but i just picked up a haines manual and it shows a adjustment for the shifter. Anyone ever had to fix this? Thanks

Both should be simple fixes. If your not sure how take it to a shop. The hing pin being the possibly harder of the two.

Bring the transmission problem to the dealer, they should be familiar with replacing the housing which causes this problem.
mic canic did pass the time by typing:
For the starting problem: No recall that I see, just the park/neutral safety switch or link out of whack. But on that subject there was at least one recall in that area. (Shift interlock)
As for the door: Could be the crack as mic canic points out or a sheared pin. Check the door also. Jeep had a series of crappy welds. Don't show any recall data for that.
