You might be able to fix that with some plywood or ductape and plastic. :)

Actually, 1/4" pressboard with a vinal cover would probably work. Not sure how you would anchor it.

I run the center strap back up to the footman loop in the center of the windshield on mine.

That makes sense. Those Windjammers look nice. I haven't seen one up close but I bet they make a nice addition to the Jeep.

Any idea why the orders drone a one of the catalog houses said the straps would be too short?
