I have a '99 Sephia base model, and at the same time all the meters in the dash quit working and the automatic transmission seems to be "stuck in one gear". I am car-illiterate, but I do know that all the fuses are still intact...
Any ideas??

Did you check both the inside and outside boxes? I believe there is a "meter" fuse which also supplies power to the Trans computer.
On the downside, if blown, you could have a short just about anywhere.
