Hello i have a 87 110 land rover when i got it it only had three months mot.i had a good look over it and all seemed well then last week i removed the chequer plate covering the rear crossmember and found two holes where reflectors had once been near the jacking points .the mot is now due,i dont have a lot of money at the moment and was wondering if this would be an mot fail ?thanks

But without the plate it should and rightly so.
Just don't go towing a trailer or even worse get involved in an off road recovery.
I am sure you should be able to find someone to weld them up for you - cheap enough!!!
