110 Floors etc

Do you mean front floor? If so, its pretty much the same as a Series III - except they finally realised that putting the tunnel on top of the floor panels is a Good Idea! Made of aluminium.

The rear floor is spot weldedto the wing assemblies, also aluminium.

The station wagon rear floor (between the second pair of doors is a single flat sheet of aluminium held in by screws same as the series.

Thats probably comming through from the extra crossmember - not impossible to fix if necessary if you know the sneaky trick.......

Just had a really good poke, they are rotten through front to back. It's like a U shaped channel front to back.

That is the sill member. On the station wagon this is in one piece with the centre pillar - and is quite expensive. JD

Go on then, how much? Do you mean the centre pillar as in what the rear doors attach to?

They both need doing no matter what, athough the actual uprights are fine.

The door sills and the pillar the rear doors attach to are the same fabricated part, sometimes known as a T section (upside down), although it actually has a droop on one side of the cross of the T where the bottom of the back door is sloped. It would be possible to fabricate a new sill section from angles and weld it to the upright. I can't remember where I saw the prices (probably in a magazine article), but I seem to remember that it was ridiculously high, perhaps around UKP500. JD

The crossmember is 41.12 inc VAT. Replacing it is a right royal pain in the bum - unless you cut it in half, fit it, and then weld it up again.
