4.0SE ECU rechip

Got myself a R-reg 4.0 SE auto, Drives nice, but moving from a Isuzu citation 3.2 auto the Rangie seems to have a really slow pick up, seem to find I have my foot to the floor just to keep up with normal traffic when pulling away from the lights.

4.0 SE , is there a re-chipping for the ECU? If so is it worth doing? Best place to buy in the UK?

The 4.0 is a bit sluggish off the lights.

There are several companies that do chip these beasts, but its not cheap!! The GEMS ECU needs a scrambler socket as well.

RPi do the chip as well as Mark Adams on 07798 582390.

Its advisable to change the fuelling/rpm chip as well as the ignition timing chip but this does equal 2 scrambler socket and two EPROM chips

So do I...

... and I've also got one of these and it does make a difference to both available power when pushed and MPG when driving gently.
