Does anybody have any info on Maurice Wilks who designed the first landrover. I have heard it was designed on Anglesey only a couple of miles from me and it got stuck during testing on Newborough beach for the tide to wash over it. Whoever thought Anglesey would be birthplace to the best 4 X 4 X far !.
