Hi,
Is the engine oil & filter change on a Disco TD5 just a straight drain and re-fill?
Seem to remember having an engine at sometime, might have been a V8, where if you left it too long to re-filling, the oil pump needed priming.

That was the V8 - AFAIAA there is no issue with the Td5 like this. You'll change the oil and centrifugal filter - the bypass filter is only changed every million miles or something.

The centrifugal is every service along with the oil. The paper jobbie is every other service I think.
