Just dropped Abby off at Heathrow (T1), in the Rangie. Took the keys out but didn't lock it, as I was only standing next to it.
Got back in and the engine had immobilised itself. Wouldn't start on the key and told me I had to press a button on the key fob.
Fine, except the key fob had also stopped working... To cut a long story short, I had fortunately done what they say not to do, and left the emergency access codes in the glove compartment. Went through the routine with the door lock and it started. (I've taken the access codes out now!)
The key fob is now working fine, so I guess it was just bamboozled with all the radar and stuff? Anybody else had this at Heathrow? I've heard of it happening in petrol stations before.
David.
