OK, so I'm planning on trying to get some decent driving in while I'm still allowed to run a 4x4 in the UK, but at the moment want to keep it fairly "soft" so I'm not going to go and buy all the recovery gear just yet, but one thing that did occur to me is that the RRC doesn't really have anything up front that's really sturdy enough to try and recover the car from being bogged down without ripping the bumper off,
So. JATE Rings it is then.
One question is: How are they fitted? Most of the ones I've seen look like they need to bolt through the chassis (not particularly deep) - how are these things mounted, and does anybody have any recommendations for reasonably inexpensive ones?
