Landrover friendly MOT stations in Nottingham

Nov 16, 2003 5 Replies

Anyone know of a MOT station in Nottingham that knows about Landies? I'm not convinced that all test stations will know what Landrover 'normal' is!

Any recommendations much appreciated.

Phil

HI Phil, I use Bulwell Motor Company on Picadilly off Highbury Vale. They are next to the old bus depot.

If you are willing to travel to Derby - Raynesway MOT station is well worth a visit - Kev has had Landrovers for years. They can usually do it while you wait. Thorough and fair. We take the 2a and the car there.

Highbury Garage, on Highbury Vale, Bulwell, is a decent one too, he's used to older & newer vehicles too, (had an old Lanchester in there the other week for MOT), Both my 30yr old lightweight, & 20yd old Rangy was done with him He's very fair, I knows what he's doing

Westend Motors on the Cumberland Industrial estate in Loughborough is good for landrovers, Ted who does the MOTs has several including a rather nice Range Rover Bobtail hybrid built using two front chassis halves for maximum axle articulation. Hope this helps, Fergus
