Anyone shed any light on the mapping Co-ords for the site??

I've just had a fiddle with my Medion and it's thrown up

Does that mean anything to anyone? As it what is the standard for the co-ords it's quoting?

Just had a fiddle on multimap and it threw up this for the postcode anyway Lat: 51:48:58N (51.8162) Lon: 4:22:17W (-4.3715) looks like my co-ords are within a nats c*ck but still dunno about the standard for lat and lon and why the brackets??

the brackets are 'cos they're decimal degrees, rather than DMS, which the first bit it. a bit like if I said something was 4m (13ft) long.

aye, that's a point, reversed co-ords. I assumed he meant 51 N and 4 W, but read as 4 N 51 E, it produces interesting results.

So, only two weeks to go, and we have something like 16 vehicles, with untold numbers of people in them - probably something like 35 of us at least, if we count the kids. Lizzy has got 10 of the little tiny blue LED flashing "light sabres" for the rugrats, so you can see 'em in the dark.

I do feel the urge for some sort of commemorative thingy for everyone, even if its a car sticker. Any other suggestions for a humourous little tag ?

I remember lots of folks volunteering bits and piece, Martyn promised the cinema stuff, Nige promised beer I think (hope ?) Austin (our native guide) a barbeque. Can we co-ordinate any pledges of help here in the thread in the next few days, to eliminate duplication (except beer of course)

Commemorative sticker is a great idea. Will have a think about a slogan. Being in Max Boyce country (well, almost), "I know, cos I was there" springs to mind, but perhaps it's a bit general. :-)
