As the proud owner of a recently acquired 1983 Series III, my activities as a would be mechanic have so far been limited to cleaning the engine and undercarriage whilst wearing a boiler suit and looking quite macho. I have changed the oil in and cleaned the filthy air filter. Now I want to change the oil, but I cannot remove the bolt on the oil sump to let the old black muck out. The 13/16th AF spanner seems to fit, although not that snugly, but the bolt has been screwed in so tight that my little hands buckle under the strain. There is not much room to fit any helpful device between the bolt and the prop shaft, so a wheel brace is no good (even if it fitted the bolt). Any ideas?
Also the screws that say TL or TF 88, often for holding the bodywork together, take which size spanner?
Thanks, and sorry for my amateurishness and stupidity.
