There's been a few manic biker vid links posted here, one of them's resulted in a prosecution it seems;

Ian Rawlings uttered summat worrerz funny about:
Well, technicalities of the law aside. Deserves everything he gets if it was him and he was driving in the manner described. Seem's the solicitors are more concerned with the technicalities than the fact the rider was putting lives at risk. The question how they sleep at night is often raised, I am assured that first they lie on one side... then they lie on the other. Indeed I'm sure the solicitors concerned are more interested in dragging out any case for their own financial interest and trying to make themselves a name as pioneers.

I take it you've heard of "Vulture Funds"?

"In 1979 the Romanian government lent Zambia money to buy Romanian tractors. Zambia was unable to keep up the payments and in 1999 Romania and Zambia negotiated to liquidate the debt for $3m.
Before the deal could be finalised one of DAI's vulture funds stepped in and bought the debt from Romania for less than $4m. They are now suing the Zambian government for the original debt plus interest which they calculate at over $40m and they expect to win."
On the one hand, seems pretty low, but then again it was fairly low of Romania to realise that Zambia couldn't afford to pay without being sued, accept $3m, then decide to sell the debt for $4m to a bunch of lawyers, knowing full well they'd sue Zambia to cough up the whole lot.
Mind you, accountants are quite low on my list at the moment, having just been sent a £650 bill for a 5-minute telephone call during which they took it on themselves to do some work for me that I didn't ask for.. I'll be having a moan to them about that one.
As a biker with a very fast bike I agree totally, what a loon.
