personally, I'd be inclined to query the gearbox at that mileage.
New gearbox was fitted with the new genuine replacement engine so i am to belive
I'd be very surprised if the original was still there at that mileage. They normally go bang well before that. Of course, if the gearbox was replaced with another duffer, not a mainshaft modified one, it could be about ready to go again!
FWIW £2400 sounds about right, but if I was the seller I'd be getting through the MOT before selling it. MoT makes it a lot more saleable - not least because the buyer can drive it home!
