Thanks Nikki, Have added you to the list, I don't think we have any lightweights yet :oD
Regards. Mark.
Thanks Chris, when I can get hold of someone in the press office at Land Rover I'll see about using the factory and might see if I can get my hands on a RR Sport there.
Regards. Mark.
is it still yellow? got another yellow 110 somewhere... oo it's in brighton though..
Regards. Mark.
Indeed it is. The green stripe along the bottom isn't there, it's now all yellow.
There are some piccys of it before I got it at:
Oh, also the lightbar isn't fitted and it's up for sale if anyone wants it.
cool, do you have any plans for the rear? still using it for tools etc?
Regards. Mark.
No plans, it's not a working vehicle anymore. I use it for my everyday transport and laning. The only time it ever gets filled up is on the family camping trips and dump runs.
I realised after posting that there are other differences from the pics.
The steps are no longer fitted, the sills have been taken off and it's now fitted with a Scorpion extreme steering guard.
But it is still yellow! That's what drew me to it in the first place.

...must...resist...
I could find out the make and model if you're interested and take a couple of 'photos's...
:-)

how much? I've always wanted one...
I have absolutely no idea how much they cost, so I'll get some details off it and try and find out.
At the moment it's just taking up space in the garage and I can't really see me ever using it.

I doubt I would, either - but it'd be handy when doing things with the big trailer, maybe.
I've just been giving this some thought.
Over the few years that I've been reading this group I reckon that I've learnt quite a lot from the advice you've given me and others, all free of charge.
If you really want the lightbar you can have it, gratis. Maybe we could work out some way of getting it to you by passing it between people who post here?
It was fully working before being taken off my 110 and has high and low intensity settings, I didn't take it off though so I have no idea how it was wired up.

well, 's nice of you to say so. I don't rate charging for that kind of advice, meself. 's a differnt story if you (for example) were to say "come over and look at my vehicle and see if you can fix it" or suchlike. A fair bit of the knowledge I have is from my own research or experiment, but also a good bit comes from other people, and most of that comes for free as well
- some bits get paid for, such as installation and tuning instructions for LPG systems, which in a sense I paid for in that it came with the gear.
Mind, not sure of the legalities of lightbars... I suspect you're probably OK if they're not blue ones :-)
Whereabouts are you? I have a few trips to various areas planned during the summer.
I'm out and about alot this summer including a run to scotland and also wales (cefn mawr and bala) then heading south through mid-wales to Bristol. I'm happy to move stuff en-route.
Regards. Mark.

Mid Wales :-)
about half-way between Aberystwyth and Carmarthen, for a first approximation.
if you want accuracy, I can email grid refs etc.
Just my way of saying thanks, If we weren't miles apart I could buy you a pint or two in the local. I cant ever see me using it so if you've got a possible use then you're welcome to it.
North Hertfordshire. If you're not coming this way maybe I can take it to one of the shows this year and pass it on, either direct or to someone a bit nearer to you. Occasionally the local area rep for glass makes trips to Wales to go laning I'll ask when he's next going.
