Did they mention that they'd throw in a prop too? or was it just that the UJ was less than a tenner but they wanted to adopt an eBay philosophy on delivery?
Lets start a thread on the matter and shame the robbing gits into oblivion.
I'll add £45 for a Power steering pump bearing for a 1983 RR ... local Bearing Specialist Ltd around £5.00 for the same part (Except for that green oval box)
Also £30 for rear wheel arch extensions for a Range Rover 1990 Classic 5 door (Hardly rare!) local Beam ends Ltd £5
I could go on with a sister company
Jaguar SIII XJ6 Radiator bottom hose £110 plus VAT... I only gave £50 for all the Jaguar bits to Build Percy (Engine - Auto Box Radiator, alternator etc etc etc.... whats more I then needed to cut the f***er to get it to fit (Percy!). Needless to say £5 at the not so local breakers yard saved the day.
so just on a quick mental recall I've saved £170 :-)

the with-cat one is a different shaft, mind - solid shaft and a special splined UJ. can't see how that makes it cost about 5 times as much, though.
