Evening all,

Not one for blatant plugs normally but I really do need to flog the ol' dear! (and sell the landy) So if a Series 3 tickles your fancy take a look at 200118468068. I need to be able to get a new project into my newly finished garage. Go on, you know you want to!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........

La, la, la, can't hear you!

Rich,

For about the first time in our long and illustrious friendship, what the pissflaps are you on about mate?

While i remember and before you answer the above question. RR is due to be changed within next 6 months or so, and i've narrowed down its replacement to either a P38 on gas / diesel or a Td5 disco. Seeing as you're the only person i know that has owned both, would you care to give me some advice on the pros and cons of these two. I know most of the mechanical problems but i'm on about your favourite. My head tells me that I should have a Td5 Disco but a.) You've got one b=2E) they dont have arm rests. I know that they are awesome to tow with etc etc, quick enough, and I loved the one I had for work. However I still have a soft spot for the Range Rover. My budget will be about 7k max. This means =A36500 for a disco 2 with =A3500 left for some new tyres. Or =A35000 for a P38 and =A32k spare for when something breaks. Care to point me in any direction?

P=2ES. Dont suggest a mint 101 ambulance. I've already mentioned it to Ang, didnt go down too well

I reckon Rich is worried that if he actually concentrates on your post he will do something daft like place a bid ............oh crap Derek

Derek uttered summat worrerz funny about:

Nah, he couldn't handle a SIII

Bit personal isn't it. I think he's still saving for the op...........

I was only indicating that the Brookman Garage cannot take another Land Rover product right now.

Yes I have, and yes they do (well, mine does, anyway - ES spec).

Manual, yes. Auto marginal.

A Disco 2 is less bling and therefore more your rugged style. But a P38, if it's a good un, is an awesome beast.

Heh.

Who sez? You and whose army?

All faults fixed, sold at a nice profit. We'd got to the stage of Too Many Toys.

and if it's not a good 'un, it's an awesome challenge.
