I don't wish to be picky, but would you mind bottom-posting, or something. My newsreader rightly considers everything below the "--" to be part of your sig, which is a pain when trying to see the context.
Cheers,
Simonm.

Serious weirdness: My 110 is about 2" narrower than our Alhambra (read Galaxy or Sharan). Our back lane is *very* narrow, and right-angles to the residential street it comes out in. It's marginally easier to get the 110 down the lane than the Alhambra, but far easier to turn the latter round at the bottom :( That's a 5- or 7-point turn for the Landy.

Drive over 'em, on principle! No, I meant the roundabout...

Isn't it nice to appreciate and admire such wonderful things - without the hassle of ownership? Leastways, that's what I tell myself.
About three years ago a friend of mine (mid 30s, single) decided he needed a better class of girlfriend, and bought a Porsche Boxter, presumably as bait. Gorgeous car - deep metallic blue, cream leather upholstery, just beautiful.
He then had to move to the States, and couldn't take it with him, and sold it eventually to a dealer after no success on Ebay. He owned it for around 7 months and lost around £20,000.
I really enjoyed looking at it though.

Its happened to me in my SWB series 2A, I live on a busy vic. terace and I think the van that parked 2 inches in behind me, and the micra that parked 2 inches in front must have assumed that I never move my landy.
When I got in it, fired it up, and started manoevering the owners of both vehicles quite literally were running to scramble their vehicles. I had actually nudged the van but I didn't touch the micra.
My policy on this is that if I get boxed in, and am unable to extract my vehicle for use I will make the gap bigger until I can get out!
Yes but I wonder what ones insurance company would have to say about damage to the other vehicles?
I had to parallel park our Series 3 this morning in. Did it first time and in quite a tight space. Got arm and shoulder ache now though.
Bruce has pushed cars out of the way that have parked right in front of the drive before now, with a Land Rover. They are warned at least three times that when they have finished playing Bingo, they'll find their car in the middle of the bus lane.
