Whenever I see reference to this travelling bear I immediately lock on to the name Petey, I wonder is that his real forename?

Ah!

On the website we have added the email addy of the current "Ted sitter" in the journal (to avoid the nasty horrid email hunting bots) - should we also add location?

So anyway, Ted is in Northampton........who's gonna pick him up for the next relay?

I could take him in my Defender to Zakynthos (Greek island) for the first two weeks of july. Not exactly the UK but sunshine instead ;)

Just for rest and relaxation reasons you understand.

We're in Leicester so could pick him up from either the Northampton or Peterborough direction. He can either come this end of the week and go on holiday with us in the half-term(not sure where exactly yet - possibly Wales) or after the half term holiday from the 7th. We could then take him to Eastnor Castle with us.

Could Autin and Richard p'raps take Ted for a while in Wales?

Austin, are you planning to go to Eastnor Castle as it's fairly close?

We could take him to Scotland and the Hebrides in early July... He'd have plenty of company with Christopher, Juliette, not to mention a 3 legged dog!

When?

can't really justify any serious jaunts ATM, just spent too much on a new(er) motor...

If it can be arranged, Posh Ted can come and look at me fitting an LPG tank etc to the said new toy^H^H^H vehicle. Whereabouts is everyone in this part of the world?

There's a plan of sorts to have a small shedmoot at the Swansea show thing which is on the bank holiday, ISTR.

I thought there were classic cars and stuff there last year, BICBW - it doesn't mention any.

ah. I see that was a thing at the May day bank holiday. bugger.

Hi,

Well Posh Ted can come in my Discovery with me travelling France at the end of July and then next year through Africa. I will be travelling France, Spain, Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia and a weeks jaunt into Guinea Bassau. then staying in Gmabia for six weeks working and then back to the UK. He might be sunburnt by the end of that.

I coudl update his journal eveyr couple of days from internet cafe's.
