Does anyone know if there's a special tool to get the oil filter out? The filter is in a really hard space to get to. Is there a special way to remove the oil filter?

Use a cap-type oil filter wrench. It slips over the end of the oil filter and you use a 3/8" drive socket extension to turn.

Sears sells a great filter remover. It has a cam action that gently squeezes the filter. Only place I've seen it.
