RX 300 ROOF RACK CAPACITY

Factory roof rack capacity is usually 100 or 150 pounds. There is sometimes a sticker somewhere on the rack with the capacity or else it will be in the owner's manual. If in doubt, use 100 pounds.

Jerry, It's in the owner's manual somewhere. At least that's where I think I read it. Don't have my manual handy but iirc for my '01 RX300 it was all of 75 pounds. hth, Bob

Bob is correct on the max weight, but it's not in the owner's manual, it's on a sticker on the upper surface of one of the crossbars. Also, the crossbars are only designed to take the Lexus accessory bike rack or ski rack attachments.
