Can any kind soul tell me the torque value and angular tightening figure for the cylinder head bolts on one of these ancient beasts please?

TIA

Sorry, I forgot there was a 1.8 Pinto in early Sierras...

It's a CVH.

Pinto is 30ft/lb then 55ftlb followed by 90° after 5 minutes.

CVH: Use new bolts, stage 1 : tighten to 40 - 60 NM Stage 2: slacken half a turn Stage 3 : tighten to 40 - 60 nm Stage 4: tighten 90 degrees Stage 5: Tighten 90 degrees

I would usually leave it to settle for 10 minutes or so between stages 1 and

2, and again between 3, 4 , 5 (although that is not specified, it just seems right.
