106 clutch squeal

Hi, my 106 has a problem where when I start it up in the morning or after work it squeals for a while but after warming up it stops and is fine. This started just after I had a new fan belt fitted by a local garage. Am I looking at a new clutch or an adjustment.

It sounds like the belt isn't tight enough and is slipping. What makes you think it may be the clutch?

Hi, because sometimes if I wait till it stops sqealing at start up then engage the clutch to move off it starts sqealing again. Also when I speed up and engage 4th it also stops. But it always stops when it warms up. So not sure.

It is the alternator belt squealing, not the clutch. If it has been happening for more than a short time then you may well need another new belt.
