A friend of mine has just got a 51 reg 2.2 Vectra auto and according to Parkers it has a five speed auto, but Haynes states it's a four speed. He has tried to count the changes but it is so smooth he cant tell, so can anybody enlighten him. Trevor
He's not very perceptive, then. But I'd guess a glance at the handbook would tell. And even sometimes just reading the selector lever.
Vectra-B or Vectra-C?
Given it's the larger engine, it could well be a 5 speed. Certainly 4 and 5 speed boxes were available.
