Car squeaks when I drive

Well, it's a turn of phrase.

Go down most non-city boozers and you'd be likely to find a street mechanic, around here you would anyhow. mWouldn't you?

I was querying why you think the OP *must* know a mechanic. Surely if that was the case, she would not have asked for such basic help in this NG?

Sorry, yes I take your point. But our neighbours get up to allsort we aren't aware of. It may be worth bringin it up in conversation. At times we just don't know our luck.

A spanner is someone who is a bit of a tool. Sometimes useful, sometimes not; it depends upon the application and the application.

I want proof, send photos!

If you've got a big member, and you're looking at your breaks, then you're looking in the wrong place!!

Really aren't any big members in your brakes :(
