Having problems with my 92 escort van (1.8 non turbo). Will start and run fine all day until I shut it off. Then when it restarts it feels like it's only running on 2 cylinders. If I limp up to speed then turn off the ignition, cycle the glow plugs then bump it most of the time the problem goes away. It seemed to get worse after fitting a new centre and back box. The fuel filter always seems to have air in it, however i've changed the primer pump, fitted a new fuel filter and replaced the fuel hose from the rigid pipe up to the filter and the glow plugs. When it's mucking around the throttle goes "dead" just after the mid-way point, so you have to either floor it or take your foot off and hope the engine keps going. Any advice would be useful. Regards Brad
