Trying to undo bottom bolt on brake caliper of Rover 25 to change pads, it keeps slipping and the edges are rounding off. Have soaked with WD40 and tried petrol too, what should I do?

Trying to undo bottom bolt on brake caliper of Rover 25 to change pads, it keeps slipping and the edges are rounding off. Have soaked with WD40 and tried petrol too, what should I do?
Use a single hex socket, maybe heat too.
But only after getting rid of the petrol!!!! :o)
If you or a neighbour has a mig welder, snot a big bob of weld on the head. It's never failed me yet :)

What Cheerful said, but deffo on a bit of butane heat first. It's always worked for me.

For future reference, you used the wrong sized (or poor quality) spanner.
It would have helped to have hit the bolt head with a hammer several times before trying to undo it to break the rust seal..
