how do the seat belt pre tensioners work on fiesta front seats?
it seems besides a pyrotechnic fired on the reel to take up slack it seems to have another one (looks like a long canister) for each stalk (that you clip the seat belt into - near the hand brake) .
does this tighten on the stalk as well?
the one in the reel is a webbing lock, the stalk one is the pretensioner
ok thx, i was surprised on the stalk one everything seems to be exposed. if anything gets in the way (umbrella, toys, magazines ) it will jam, or shoot the other way possibly?
