It's stopped happening now as everyone predicted. Sounds most likely that the lack of noise was my imagination and they were indeed just too new. Now it only breaks traction if I keep the throttle wide open through the torque peak in second like it always did. If I had to pick one thing I miss most about the old 200SX, it'd be the RWD. Roll on the finish of the kit-car...
