kenwood auto cd changer and Mondeo

I have a Kenwood kdc-c467 6 cd autchanger which I took out of a Focus about 2 years ago and I have not got round to fitting it to my mondeo

-- and I have no manuals. - any help and advice would be good!!!

Yes, I have one, and the manuals somewhere too. I assume you have a matching Kenwood head unit to connect it to, and the cables?

The Cd changer simply has a multicore cable which plugs into the corresponding socket on the head unit, simple as that. It should be mounted on a suitable surface and the slots on the side turned in the right direction for horiziontal/vertical mounting of course, though I don't think I ever screwed mine down, just found a nice tight-fitting spot for it!

The head units have the standard plug; if the Mondeo isn't equipped with that, then it's worth dropping into Halfrauds for the adapter plug - they charge silly money for them but it's neater and so much easier than mucking about with the wiring, plus you can't get them mixed up!

The last CD changer I had fitted cost me £30 at my local auto audio specialists including cabling.
