Car is a 1996 Toyota Carina and key is stuck in ignition. It works o/k, car can be started and driven but key can't be withdrawn.
Any easy solutions ?

Toyota usually have an interlock mechanism, either the conditions have not been met or the lock thing has failed. Some are electronic, some manual with a button near the lock. Electronic require it to be in park for instance, so there may be a gearlever mounted switch or something similar.
