LHM and tyres

Burst a hydraulic pipe on the xantia today. Due to parking restrictions and lack of mobility I've had to leave it parked in a pool of LHM, one tyre is sat in the middle of it.

Is LHM likely to damage the tyre, how long could I leave it there before needing to replace the tyre?

If it was going to trash the tyre they wouldn't use it/be allowed to use it. Especially since most BXs seem to have spent most of their time bleeding green stuff.

Of far more concern is the likelihood of some council/water Co geezer turning up to talk about your lhm going down their drains. Has it rained lately where you are?

"jj" gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

No, you'll be fine.

In the absence of specialist stuff, cat litter is a good soak-up agent for spills. :-)

No, it'll be fine. It also scrubs off driveways with nothing more than fairy liquid and a brush. I know this after changing all 10 spheres on my Activa recently, and a couple of them really do give you a douche vert as it's difficult/impossible to depressurise a couple of them because of the way the electrovalves work..

During the winter, some people posted to say that it worked well as grit on snow to avoid slipping. A couple of days later they posted to say that it was hell to get off the carpets. It's probably made out of the ash from power stations - just got less cement content than a breeze block.
