Bristol Street Motors charge £94 inc. VAT for diagnostic check is this about right or is it a rip off?

Rip off. Go to Halfords and get the gunson fault code reader for circa £20. Works a treat once you get the hang of it.

Prices should fall after Oct 04..... Block exemption goes out the window then...... independents will be able to get their hands on the diag equipment that main dealers use.... but at £10,000+ updates for the WDS that ford use it may not be economical... hence the £90+ for the use of it....... BTW...WDS is crap in any case....Sun is much more efficient.
