Nissan Primera P11 power steering squeal

Anyone know why my power steering sometimes makes a squealing noise when turning at slow speed The belt seems ok

Probably because it's f***ed.

a worn or loose belt is the most likely cause, if the adjustment is correct then renew the belt, they do wear and become harder with age, they lose their friction to grip in the pulleys, then become glazed by slipping. Renewal is cheap and usually easy.

Remove engine, replace belt. Replace engine. Easy!
