What's odd about it?

Anyway, most people who read these groups have an interest in cars, and therefore don't drive 1 litre Corsas. Look it up in the handbook. But in most small engined petrols a 5 litre bottle should be plenty - mate of mine had a 1.6 litre Tigra (Corsa in drag) for a while and was amazed that the oil capacity was under 4 litres, including the oil filter.

Yes but don't just plunk 3 litres down the hole. Always use the max mark and wait until the oil has settled down. Check next morning and fill up if necessary.
