Not very. I have seen a very odd one or two - well like, one in two and a bit years.

They usually suffer with low voltage errors if the battery is getting old.

The used part I tried didn't cure it, so it's either trust a new (expensive) Honda bit, or... dunno. Charlie keeps on going on about a Yaris.

The Accord is still fairly new to me. I like it, mostly. Can live with the economy *cringe* just about. There was a time when I had cars that struggled to get under 40. This one, I can scrape just over 40, if I drive really really really carefully.

Hmmm. The lights do noticeably dim when the compressor / fans cycle in... you reckon it'll be worth replacing the battery? Bit cheaper than £400.

I disagree. This is a shared car after all. She doesn't like the Accord, either.

Yaris makes lots of sense as a means of getting from A to B. Big inside, small outside, frugral, unburstable engine and early ones are starting to look sensible money.

For the time being I have no interest in enjoying my driving other than arriving safely... I can defer that until we have the space for something track day esque.

Moving in ten days. And we've not packed. And we've known about the move for a day and a half.

I'm not paying for somebody to break my stuff, I can do that myself.

Anyway I get to hire a big diesel van. And fill it up. Spilling it on my shoes. Yum.

Difference is, if Pickfords break it, they pay to replace it.

Nah, not my thing. I happily pay professionals to do that kind of thing.

What errors does it give?

So do I, so do I. I probably gave him a little too much for the car but it's in rather nice nick - apart from the usual scratches around the tailgate, the ugly 1980s glass sunroof and a single dent, it's got a 5p sized rust coloured spot on one of the rear wheelarches. And that's pretty much all the rust I could find. Even the tailgate stays up...

Stamped service history until 120k, then a couple missing and the last stamp 6k ago at 141k.

My senses of adventure(s) tend to be in the garage, in bits...
