Son's 2008 Peugeot 207. Key fob battery went flat. Replaced it and followed the procedure in the user guide for recoding. Didn't work exactly. Now unlock button locks it, and lock button does nothing. Have taken keyfob battery back out, and left it 10 mins, then tried again, but same result.
Any of the usual suspects come across this, or know a procedure that works ?
TIA

you didn't say which procedure you followed. Autodata says turn on ign and press lock button for ten seconds.

Thanks. One that he found on the 'net said key in, ign on, hold lock button for 20 secs, ign off, key out, key back in, hold button for a further 10 seconds, key out, exit car and lock manually. I didn't say that you had to stand on one leg when you did it, but I had him do that as well, just in case ! :-)
It didn't work ...
The other methods that he found were basically as you have described - very simple - but with various different times of 5 secs, 10 secs and 20 secs of button push suggested. He tried them all but the condition of only one button working, and that being the 'wrong' button prevailed.
Just as I have been typing this, my phone has gone off, and there is a text from him. It says "seems to be working now... very weird" so buggered if I know. Thanks for responding anyway.
