I have a 1990 Pontiac Le Mans hatchback which I believe is an Opel Kadett E. The glass in the rear lefthand door has been broken by ne'er-do-wells. I have a sourced replacement - can anyone tell me how to take the old one out and put the new one in please. It is the window on the rear edge of the door, rather than the main winding window.

Or indeed a Vauxhall Astra over here. Very often you will have to remove the runner for the sliding window then the small glass can be removed. This will involve removing the door trim, window winder , handles etc . Then look for the fixings that hold the runner. Steve the grease
