I have a 98 Primera where the lock has failed on one opf the rear doors. Initially the central door locking just ceased to work on that door and I had to remember to lock it manually and now the manual lock does not work either. The door is locked closed and I am unable to open it from either the inside or outside. I have taken the inner panel off and can see that the rod mechanisms going to the lock itself are working correctly but it appears that the lock itself is jammed. The lock is very difficult to get to but I cannot feel any release point. Has anyone any suggestions?
