Oh come off it, you claim 'impeccable logic', but you demonstrate a deeply flawed knowledge of history. If anything, it was the "traditional Judeo Christian ethos" establishment that allowed the evils mentioned beforehand to exist. You forget (or maybe never knew) that Church of England bishops were slave owners right up to the end.
It was the unorthodox, upstart, free thinking, non-conformists that spoke truth to power and led to change.

You made points which simply can't be answered to the satisfaction of an agnostic, so most religious bigots won't even try.
All religions tend to emulate some form of feudal lord where their word is 'law' regardless of reason. Hence their decline in a reasonable free society.
