Hi Folks,
I need a new headlamp glass for my Volvo 240. The local dismantlers had one, but bust it trying to get it out for me. Can anyone recommend a used-bit-by-post place for this sort of thing?

In my experience, scrap yards that go to the trouble of wrapping and posting parts or who feel they have a captive customer charge considerably more. If it was me I would make a day of touring a few local yards.

Thanks for the suggestion but there are few local yards where I am, the thing is only 60 quid or so new, and I value my time more than ten or twenty quid a day ... of course if there was somewhere convenient I'd be round with my toolbox.
