I am in a bit of a fix. I need to replace the air con compressor on my Cavalier before getting it leak checked and regassed - BUT I can't get the two O ring seals for it. Unlike the later types which used bonded washers ( alloy with rubber insert ) these are square section O rings. The local air con dealers don't carry them, and Vauxhall don't list them saying they come as part of the compressor and are not available seperatly ( by that reasoning does it mean that if I want a sump plug washer I need to get a new engine? )
Anyone had a similar problem or can recommend somewhere to mail order from?
