So how much did you pay Ebay to rip off their "Buy it Now" logo?

Oooo- £89.95 - somewhat more expensive than the one I bought last week at £35 from an Ebay seller based in HK. He didn't spam the newsgroup...

It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "Doug" saying something like:

What cc and model year is that?

Thanks, Doug, for leaving the spammer's URL in.

No, for once, I'm serious - it gave me the opportunity to see exactly what crap this was that snipped-for-privacy@gadgets-galore.net was selling.

A GPS mouse? FFS!

My first assumption was that it used GPS to monitor the movement rather than a ball or laser or whatever - while cool, imagine the size of movement you'd need for it to work reliably!

Combining GPS with a Mouse, though? By all means, use a USB GPS on a laptop in a car, but surely you'd use the nipple or pad on the keyboard? It's not like you tend to have a big desk in your car (well, I don't).

Did you see the screenshot on the machine, too? An aerial photo, fair enough - but then having a zoom-in of the street? Erm, isn't that what the windscreen's for?

Seems to have paid the price of spammers and been pulled. The wibble's not available now.

Oh, no! Where can I get this piece of overpriced useless crap from now?

Ah, of course. fleaBay.
